The toy company PMI Kids’ World has appointed Mark Kingston as its new lead for licensing and business development.
PMI says the company is at a pivotal point in its development right now, having recently added licenses for Stumble Guys, Piñata Smashlings and Pudgy Penguins to its stable. Kingston has demonstrated a strong record for driving growth and creating innovative partnerships in the brand licensing industry.
PMI says it is increasing its presence in the preschool sector as well, and is set to unveil a new toy line next year based on the IP from the educational kids’ series The Creature Cases. PMI believes bringing Kingston on board in an advisory capacity will give the company a welcome boost in driving more sales and revenue.
“PMI Kids’ World has an impressive streak of staying ahead of the curve when it comes to finding the next hot brands,” says Kingston. “I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with the team to help take their incredible portfolio of licenses to the next level.”
Kingston comes to the role boasting deep experience with top companies in the licensing industry, including The Walt Disney Company, BBC Worldwide, The Walt Disney Company, Nickelodeon, Viacom and Paramount. Kingston is also the co-founder and CEO at Libertas Brands, a new IP management, licensing and consultancy company that launched in September this year.
