Yoplait has partnered with Kraft Heinz to create a limited-edition offering of Kool-
Aid flavored Yoplait yogurts.
The licensing deal was brokered by the Kraft Heinz exclusive licensing agency Brand Central.
Brand Central is a premiere global brand consultancy that provides comprehensive business solutions in the areas of brand extensions, trend intelligence, and manufacturer representation.
“We are really excited to bring these two iconic brands together for a fun and delightful treat for consumers,” says Jodi Bogdanoff, SVP of Licensing at Brand Central.
The new product assortment includes three flavors: Tropical Punch, Blue Raspberry and Cherry, giving consumers the same iconic flavors of Kool-Aid beverages in a new yogurt product.
Kool-Aid is a popular and long-standing powdered drink mix brand that is owned by Kraft Heinz, a multinational food corporation that formed through a merger of the original Kraft Foods and Heinz companies. The company represents a wide variety of popular brands and is the fifth largest food and beverage company in the world.
“The Kool-Aid brand is synonymous with summer, and by pairing these quintessential flavors with the goodness of dairy, we’re offering a tasty new way to enjoy the deliciousness of Yoplait this season,” said Erica Johnston, Senior Brand Manager for Yoplait.
The Yoplait brand is owned by General Mills, a well-known multinational manufacturer and marketer of branded consumer foods.
The Kool-Aid x Yoplait branded products hit shelves in early July and are available nationally at Walmart, Kroger, Stop & Shop, Giant Company, Meijer, Dollar General, Schnucks, Tops Markets and more.
