The global fashion brand, Claire’s Holdings, has appointed IMG as its exclusive worldwide licensing representative.
Claire’s Holdings is a global fashion brand and retail company that focuses on offering a convenient and affordable shopping experience that is geared towards children, teenagers and youth.
The company currently operates over 2,700 Claire’s branded stores throughout North America and Europe, as well as 190 stores in North America under its ICING brand. In addition, more than 300 franchised stores for the Claire’s brand are operated in the Middle East and South Africa. Claire’s branded products are also offered in thousands of concession locations in North America and Europe.
Under the terms of the multi-year representation agreement with Claire’s Holdings, IMG will be responsible for extending the company’s licensing program with branded products in both new and existing retail categories.
“At Claire’s we are reimagining the ways we reach and interact with consumers by letting the interests and passions of Gen Z and Gen alpha lead our brand,” said Claire’s EVP, Kristin Patrick. “In our conversations, our consumers have told us they want more from us, and this partnership with IMG allows us to extend Claire’s brand proposition, aesthetic, and values across an even wider canvas of products and shopping destinations relevant to them while maintaining the creative integrity that makes our brand so beloved and distinctive.”
The global licensing program will include multiple product categories such as apparel, accessories, home décor, and other lifestyle and special occasion products. IMG will also work to further expand the company’s omnichannel distribution network to reach additional countries and territories across the globe.
