ZAG has signed a licensing agreement with Zippy Paws to develop a dog toy collection based on the Miraculous franchise.
“So many families have pets who are, quite simply, part of the family, and as Miraculous has broad appeal to families, our move into pet licensing is a natural extension for the brand,” said ZAG CEO, Jeremy Zag. “ZippyPaws designs their products not only with lifestyle in mind but also produces the highest-quality products that are the safest in the market.”
Since it was initially founded in 2011, ZippyPaws’ pet product catalog has expanded to include over six hundred items across a range of categories.
“We’re so excited to partner with ZAG as the first pet license for Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir,” said ZippyPaws director, Ashley Newman.
“This collection takes characters and imagery from such a beloved property and really gave us an opportunity to put a fresh new spin on classic ZippyPaws products. As leaders in the pet industry, we took this as an opportunity to bring a brand that is already so family-oriented, into a category directed to the four-legged members of the family.”
The new licensed dog toy range includes Miraculous-inspired Cheeky Chums Plush, a Kwami Plush Pack, Rope Gliderz, a Squeakie Pattiez Miracle Box, and a Patterned Bone toy.
The 3D-CGI-animated series Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir was created by ZAG and co-produced with Method Animation. The series follows the adventures of two teens who magically transform into the superheroes, Ladybug and Cat Noir, to protect Paris.
The Miraculous series is currently available in over 120 countries. An animated feature is currently being developed for the franchise that will be supported by several co-branded partnerships.
