ZAG has partnered with Novabrink and Xalingo to unveil new licensed Ghostforce toys at the ABRIN expo in Brazil.
The ABRIN expo is the largest business-to-business event in the Latin American toy sector. The event hosts an average of 140 exhibitors and 13,000 visitors. ABRIN 2023 takes place from March 5 to 8, 2023.
“ABRIN is such an important market for toy manufacturers to present their new products to retailers across Brazil, and it’s a fabulous opportunity to showcase our new Ghostforce products from Novabrink and Xalingo, and increase awareness for the brand,” said Zag VP, Angela Cortez. “With its stunning visuals, great costumes, iconic bad guys, and extended storylines, Ghostforce has charmed Brazilian audiences who have fully embraced the series.”
Ghostforce is an original animated series that follows three students who form a secret superhero team to defend New York City from hostile ghosts. The Ghostforce series premiered on Discovery Kids in Latin America on December 6, 2021 and in Brazil on May 6, 2022. The Ghostforce series will soon be available on terrestrial TV in Brazil.
At the ABRIN expo, Novabrink is presenting a line of licensed figurines and costumes for the Ghostforce brand.
Xalingo is presenting a collection of Ghostforce branded board games, jigsaw puzzles, activity sets, coloring books, memory games, and dominoes.
The licensed consumer products from Xalingo and Novabrink will launch in the Brazilian retail market in time for Halloween 2023.
The product lines are intended to complement an upcoming toy collection from Zag’s global master toy partner, Playmates Toys, which will hit retail in 2024. Playmates Toys product collection will feature character-based figurines and collectible ghost capsule toys.
Additional licensing partners on board for Ghostforce in the region include Dermiwil, View Cosmeticos, Lolla Sorvestes and C&E.
