Hasbro Announces First Women Innovators of Play Virtual Event

Hasbro is hosting a virtual event called Hasbro: Women Innovators of Play to educate participants on women’s contributions to the entertainment industry.
The event includes discussions surrounding leadership, innovation, and creativity with prominent women from the toy and entertainment industry.
Speakers for the upcoming event include board game designer Elizabeth Hargrave; head of toy at Hasbro, Kim Boyd; president of Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro gaming, Cynthia Williams, actor, director, and entrepreneur Aisha Tyler and more.
“Women inventors have played a vital role throughout history – and at Hasbro, we are dedicated to connecting and collaborating with innovative women with revolutionary ideas,” said Boyd. “In our 100 years in business, Hasbro has consistently supported women trailblazers, including the inventors of Guess Who (Ora Coster) and Candy Land (Eleanor Abbott) and we’re proud to highlight women leaders across the world about the toy industry and beyond.”
Participants will learn about the pitching process of new toys or games, in addition to Hasbro’s development pipeline from concept to creation.
A special key announcement from Hasbro will also be shared during the event’s program.
Hasbro: Women Innovators of Play will take place virtually on Sept. 12, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.ET.
Registration for the event is free and open to anyone over 18 years old.
