Hasbro is opening up opportunities for female toy and game inventors by inviting them to join their Women Innovators of Play Challenge.
The challenge follows the Women Innovators of Play conference in October with a goal of finding the next great woman-led mass market toy or game.
Ideas will be judged on innovation, mass marketability, fun factor and playability, design and aesthetics manufacturability.
The Women Innovators of Play Challenge provides winners with a $10,000 cash prize, but more importantly opens up opportunities to bring a product to market. The challenge winner will also enjoy mentorship from top toy industry experts, and a trip to Hasbro World Headquarters in Pawtucket, Rhode Island for a “Day at Hasbro.”
Full Challenge details including eligibility requirements can be found at this URL: https://spark.hasbro.com/womeninnovators#submit-your-idea.
Hasbro’s Women Innovators of Play is open to submissions now, but end on November 11, so anyone interested is urged to submit a proposal as soon as possible.
Hasbro is a leading toy and game company with a portfolio of over 1,800 iconic brands including MAGIC: THE GATHERING, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, Hasbro Gaming, NERF, TRANSFORMERS, PLAY-DOH and PEPPA PIG, as well as premier partner brands.
