Kahoot! has launched a collaboration with Sanrio to create free educational games inspired by the company’s popular character IPs.
Designed for both children and adult learners, the collection will include digital games that feature well-known characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kerokerokeroppi and more.
“We are excited to launch a brand new collection of kahoots in collaboration with all Sanrio characters, and it is a privilege for us at Kahoot! to welcome Hello Kitty and her friends to our platform,” said Kahoot! CEO, Eilert Hanoa. “Our mission is to make learning awesome for everyone through engaging and entertaining learning experiences, and this collaboration brings us one step closer to fulfilling that promise for our users of all ages worldwide.”
The Sanrio game collection will be available for free to users of Kahoot’s online platform and mobile app.
Kahoot! is an interactive learning and engagement platform that is designed to support the development of life skills like communication, collaboration, and cultural awareness.
This collaboration with Sanrio is intended to further support the increase in digital learning solutions that are used across Japanese schools, universities and corporate enterprises.

In recent years, Japanese businesses have also increased their use of Kahoot! to improve the onboarding process for new employees, support the development of their workforce and increase engagement during presentations.
