Red Bull is providing some ‘Wiiings’ for Tetris, with cans that provide a digital ticket to a high octane, competitive version of the classic game.
The energy drink brand has unveiled a limited-edition can featuring the colorful Tetrimino blocks, which also feature a QR code that acts as the entry point for Red Bull Tetris. The cans, available in small and large sizes, hit store shelves on September 1.
The included QR code opens up a new mode for the mobile Tetris game, with mechanics like gravity flips, time-limited rounds, speed boosts, a golden Tetrimino, and power-ups that might leave even seasoned stackers in a tight spot.
As Red Bull puts it: “The iconic game, now with Wiiings.”
The partners say that, for players who can keep their lines clear under pressure, there’s more than bragging rights at stake.

Thousands of gamers are already climbing the leaderboard, but only the top 32 will fit into the bracket for the U.S. National Final on November 22 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
There, the blocks won’t just fall — they’ll crash down in 1-vs-1 PC battles until a champion emerges.
That winner won’t just level up; they’ll also be packing their bags for Dubai, where global bragging rights are on the line. The World Final, set for December 11–13, will feature over 2,000 drones creating the first-ever live, playable Tetris game inside the towering Dubai Frame.
Red Bull says no purchase is necessary to compete, though an account is required to log scores. The sweepstakes closes October 31, leaving players a little more than a month to piece together a path to Florida. In other words, if you think you have the geometric chops to become the world champion, you’d better act fast!
Both company’s say the partnership is a natural fit, as Tetris has been keeping players wired since the 1980s, and Red Bull has built its brand on adrenaline-fueled experiences. Together, they’re offering fans the chance to power up, flip the board, and maybe drop that perfect line piece at just the right moment.
The limited-edition cans are already stacked up, Tetris style, in select retailers nationwide, but like any good Tetris game, they won’t last forever. Once supplies are gone, they’re gone, and so is the chance to enter the competition.
