Myprotein has entered a licensing partnership with Tapatío Hot Sauce to create a selection of limited-edition sports nutrition products.
The partnership between the two brands was brokered by Tapatío’s exclusive licensing agency, Brand Central.
Brand Central LLC is a global licensing and brand management agency that provides comprehensive business solutions in the areas of brand extensions, trend intelligence, consultation services and manufacturer representation.
“As the iconic hot sauce brand known for igniting taste buds, Tapatío is excited to bring its signature spice to Myprotein’s innovative lineup,” said Tapatío director, Roche McCoy. “Together, we’re spicing up the world of sports nutrition, delivering bold and exciting flavors to fuel the passions of fitness enthusiasts everywhere.”
Launched in 1971, Tapatío is an American hot sauce brand that features a distinct flavor profile that is inspired by Latin American cuisine.
As part of the licensing agreement, Myprotein has created two new Tapatío-inspired flavors for its MyPRO THE Pre-Workout nutritional powder.
The new co-branded flavors are Spicy Mango Margarita and Spicy Strawberry Margarita.
Later this year, Myprotein and Tapatío will expand the co-branded product range further with a limited-edition MyProtein Impact Whey Protein powder product.
The limited-edition Whey Protein post-workout powder will use the Tapatío Hot Sauce flavor profile to offer a spicy Mexican Chocolate flavor.

The Tapatío x MyPRO THE Pre-Workout Spicy Mango Margarita and Spicy Strawberry Margarita products are available for a limited time through Myprotein’s official U.S. ecommerce website.
The Myprotein x Tapatío Impact Whey Protein Mexican Chocolate product will launch later this year exclusively through the Myprotein online platform.
