Sony Pictures Consumer Products is inviting fans of Ghostbusters to gear up for the next chapter with new products and collaborations from the pop culture phenomenon.
Sony has created a robust consumer products program for the upcoming Ghostbusters installment, anchored by key licensees including Hasbro, Funko, Timberland, Wuxly, and Kellogg’s,
The launch aligns with the much-anticipated arrival of Sony Pictures Entertainment’s latest film, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which will premiere in theaters on March 22.
“As we embark on the newest adventure in the Ghostbusters franchise, a property that has been uniting fans across the world for generations, we’ve developed a truly robust consumer products program that invites fans to evoke the excitement and adventure of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire into their own lives,” said Jamie Stevens, EVP, Worldwide Consumer Products, Sony Pictures Entertainment. “Complete with fun, unique and high quality merchandise that spans categories, our collection is an open invitation for fans to embark on a thrilling and chilling journey as they gear up for the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire theatrical release and as they celebrate the franchise well beyond.”
Sony says the program is designed to transcend generational boundaries and create global experiences that resonate with fans of all ages, with all interests, and bring the property to life beyond the silver screen. The following licensees for Ghostbusters have products available now for purchase or pre-orders:
Timberland is kicking off the new chapter in the Ghostbusters franchise with a limited-edition collaboration collection. The Timberland x Ghostbusters Premium 6-Inch Wheat Nubuck and Timberland x Ghostbusters Premium 6-Inch Black Nubuck with Camo were reimagined from the Original Timberland Boot, and feature inspiration from the movie’s iconic ties to New York City and nods to the Ghostbusters universe. The collab will be available on March 21 exclusive to Timberland Community members on Timberland.com.
For a unique experience, fans can shop the capsule collection from Wuxly, which includes the recognizable Ghostbusters signature red parkas. The collection also includes caps, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies that evoke the ghost-busting lifestyle on and off-screen available now at Wuxly.com.
Specialty retailer Hot Topic will release a new fashion collection, including glow-in-dark Slimer apparel and accessories. The collection will launch later this month and will be available in Hot Topic stores and online at hottopic.com.
To sport the Ghostbusters look, apparel and accessory programs are also available through Mad Engine and Ripple Junction.
Hasbro is offering a variety of toys and action figures based on the movie, allowing fans to save the world from a second ice age. Check out the collection which includes:
- Squash & Squeeze Slimer, an eerily interactive toy ghost that comes to life through motion and over 40 spooky sounds.
- Fans can take ghost bustin’ to a new level with the Zap & Blast Proton Blaster. The blaster features LED light effects and more than 20 sounds.
- Fright Features Figures include Callie, Phoebe, and Trevor Spengler along with Gary Grooberson. All 5-inch figures feature entertainment-inspired design and detail.
- The Track & Trap Ecto-1 toy car includes a blaster seat and rooftop drone trap to chase spooky specters.

For an immersive experience into the Ghostbusters universe, gamers and fans can enjoy interactive collaborations including:
- Ghostbusters is taking over Scopely’s Stumbleverse in “Stumble Guys”! Fans will be able to flaunt their favorite spectral characters with new playable Stumblers, including the iconic Slimer. Players can also enjoy special victory animations, footsteps, and emotes featuring the P.K.E. meter, particle thrower, and more. “Stumble Guys” is available to play for free on mobile, PC, and Xbox later this month.
- Ghostbusters and Guardians will soon join forces in Bungie’s sci-fi action game Destiny 2. Available on March 19, the collection of in-game items inspired by Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will include a Slimer Guardian Ghost, a new Sparrow inspired by Garraka, and an Ecto-1-themed Ship. Additionally, players who purchase either the set or any of the individual items will also be eligible to download the Bungie Rewards Slimer Ghost Shell papercraft mask, exclusively through the Bungie Store at no additional cost.
- Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, a 4 v1 haunt-or-hunt action-packed video game from the asymmetrical multiplayer experts at IllFonic, is primed to release their newest free DLC allowing fans to live out experiences inspired by Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
Fans can stay nourished and ready to take on a powerful death-chilling adversary with Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treats featuring Ghostbusters sprinkles.
Pop Culture Coffee will power up your day with its new limited-run coffee inspired by the film. Coming soon, customers can purchase official Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire coffee in the US directly from www.popculturecoffee.com and at select specialty retailers and conventions nationwide.
A new four-issue series from Dark Horse Comics, Ghostbusters: Back in Town finds the Spengler family where they left off after the events of Ghostbusters: Afterlife and delivers them to the famed New York City Firehouse where they take on the family business, and paranormal forces begin to come to light, segueing seamlessly to where Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire picks up. Ghostbusters: Back in Town hits comic stores on March 27.
