The Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group has partnered with Flower Shop Perfumes to launch its first officially licensed fragrance, called L’eau de Parfum.
The licensed Cirque de Soleil fragrance was crafted by Flower Shop Perfumes in partnership with DSM-Firmenich and professional perfumer, Alexis Grugeon.
Grugeon has previously contributed to branded fragrances for companies and celebrities including Ralph Lauren, Ariana Grande, Michael Kors, and Amouage.
“Twenty years ago, my father, Ilia Lekach, sought to create a Cirque du Soleil fragrance, so for us to be able to help bring it to life now is an extraordinary honor,” said Flower Shop Perfumes CEO, Isaac Lekach. “We approached the task with utmost reverence, faithfully mirroring the meticulousness emblematic of Cirque du Soleil’s unparalleled artistry.”
The debut of the branded fragrance is designed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Cirque du Soleil live entertainment brand.
“In our 40th year in business, we are continuing to evolve beyond our live show offerings and tap into additional creative avenues, which is why we are thrilled to announce this fragrance with Flower Shop,” said Cirque du Soleil director, Eleni Planet. “Consumers around the globe can now experience the awe found in our iconic shows and share the joy of Cirque du Soleil every day.”
The Cirque du Soleil x Flower Shop Perfumes product includes a distinctive bottle that features design aspects inspired by the entertainment brand in an art-deco style.
The cap on the licensed L’eau de Parfum bottle features a tiered top and a ridged golden stopper that depicts a large sun rising above a moon.
The Cirque de Soleil fragrance includes notes of bergamot, apple, cotton candy, iris, freesia, popcorn, warm sandalwood, vanilla bean, and caramelized amber.
The advertising campaign for the fragrance was shot in Paris by photographer Elizaveta Porodina alongside fashion model, Alyda Grace.
