Tonies and Moonbug Entertainment have partnered up to bring the CoComelon brand to the Toniebox.
Tonies is the company behind the Toniebox, a screen-free audio entertainment system for children. Launched in 2016 by co-founders Patric Faßbender and Marcus Stahl, the Toniebox was created for kids and parents looking for screen-free entertainment that sparks imagination.
“CoComelon and Toniebox is a perfect preschool pairing,” said Drew Vernon, Marketing Director for Tonies USA.
“Our partnership with Moonbug Entertainment allows us to share the playful adventures of JJ and friends in a new screen-free way.”
The new CoComelon Tonie comes programmed with 20 original and traditional songs. The CoComelon Tonie, for kids ages 3 years old and up, is currently available for purchase on tonies.com and is coming later this month to Target and Amazon. More Tonies featuring Moonbug characters are expected to hit stores in 2023.
CoComelon follows JJ, his family and friends on everyday adventures exploring and learning through relatable situations and catchy songs. As the most-watched kids brand on YouTube, CoComelon generates over 4 billion monthly views and has more than 152 million subscribers.
The brand has become a leader on major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Roku, and Netflix, where it set the record for consecutive days in the Top 10 Most Watched TV Shows.
“We are always looking for those great products that can extend the CoComelon storytelling and joy, from the screen to the home and allow our audiences to experience our characters in new enriching ways,” said Helen Genia, Global Director of Hardlines EMEA at Moonbug Entertainment.
“This is why we are very proud of our partnership with Tonies and excited to see the new CoComelon Tonie, bringing hours of fun and some learnings as well, to our little fans.”
Moonbug Entertainment is the award-winning global entertainment company behind the CoComelon brand. Moonbug’s shows are on more than 150 platforms globally, including YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Sky, Super RTL, BBC iPlayer, HBO Max, Tencent, Youku and Roku.
Moonbug is part of Candle Media, an independent, creator-friendly home for high-quality brands and franchises. Candle is run by leading entertainment executives Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs, and backed by investment capital from funds managed by Blackstone’s flagship private equity business.
