Disney-Pixar Partner With PuraVida Foods on Healthy Frozen Meals

January 2, 2026

Pura Vida Foods has released a new line of frozen meals that combine healthy choices with the fun of popular Disney and Pixar characters.

PuraVida Foods just expanded its KidsLife brand in December with the new line of licensed frozen meals, marking the brand’s latest move into character-driven food products.

“We built PuraVida on the belief that food technology and great taste can work hand in hand,” said Michael Cihra, CEO of PuraVida Foods. “Partnering with Disney and Pixar allows us to bring that belief to life in a way that feels joyful and familiar for families, combining trusted characters with KidsLife meals made from clean ingredients, balanced nutrition, and real flavor in every bite.

The chef-crafted meals launched exclusively at Sprouts Farmers Market locations nationwide beginning December 22. The lineup features characters from Disney’s Frozen, Moana, Lilo & Stitch, Mickey Mouse & Friends, and Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story.

PuraVida said the KidsLife meals are designed to simplify healthier eating for families, combining balanced nutrition, bold flavors and natural ingredients. The products are made using the company’s proprietary Cryo Crafted process, which is intended to preserve color, texture and nutrients through precision cooking and freezing.

The initial launch includes five varieties, three of which are gluten-free and all made without artificial flavors. The products include Moana Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice, Frozen White Cheddar Mac, Lilo & Stitch Baja Bowl Jr., Mickey Mouse & Friends The Classic Mac, and Toy Story Fusilli & Meatballs.

According to the company, culinary development is central to the KidsLife range, with recipes created first for taste and then adapted to the frozen format.

“Every meal starts with culinary craft, then we apply technique to preserve what makes it special,” said Brittany Valles, corporate chef at PuraVida Foods. “KidsLife shows how precision cooking and smart freezing can deliver incredible taste and real nutrition, fast.”

The Disney- and Pixar-themed KidsLife line continues PuraVida’s broader strategy to reposition frozen foods through a combination of clean-label ingredients, culinary expertise and food technology, while leveraging well-known entertainment brands to appeal to families with young children.

PuraVida Foods was founded in 2020 and focuses on developing frozen meals that combine nutrition, flavor and advanced production techniques. KidsLife is one of the company’s core brands, dedicated to creating meals tailored specifically for children.
