Dole and Minecraft Team Up for Fruity Marketing Campaign

November 30, 2025

By Allison Watkinson

The Dole Food Company and Minecraft have launched a collaborative marketing campaign called Make the World a Healthier Place.
The co-branded marketing campaign offers a range of Minecraft-inspired activations through in-store displays, social media and a dedicated page located on Dole’s company website.
“This partnership with Minecraft represents an exciting new step in Dole’s mission to inspire families worldwide to make the world a healthier place,” said Dole Food Company corporate communications director, William Goldfield. “By blending fun, creativity and education, we are connecting with a new generation of consumers in a way that feels natural and exciting. We want to show kids not only where their food comes from and how it is grown, but also how the right foods can fuel their adventures, whether in the game or in real life.”
A major part of the campaign is an exclusive Dole Banana Hoodie customization item that can be unlocked by purchasing Dole produce with Minecraft stickers and tags.
Participants can unlock the outfit for their Minecraft avatar by uploading the stickers and tags from Dole bananas and pineapples to the campaign’s official web page.
Set to release in two waves, the limited-edition banana stickers and pineapple tags are adorned with images of licensed Minecraft characters and enemies.
The first wave is running from October to March with art of Steve, Alex, the creeper, the Enderman and the chicken jockey.
Set for release in mid-December, the second wave will include the sheep, ocelot, bee, wolf and zombie.
In addition, the campaign’s web page will offer co-branded activity sheets, coloring pages, pixel art fruit masks, a themed bingo game, a digital sticker collection and Minecraft-inspired recipes.
The themed recipe collection offers nutritious snack options like Golden Banana Ingots, Creeper Crusher Smoothies, Banana Bread Cake Blocks, Pineapple Power Up Potions, Tropical Biome Bowls and Enchanted Fruit Parfaits.
The international marketing campaign officially began in October 2025 and will run through March 2026 across the US, Canada, Germany, Italy, Greece and the Netherlands.
