The children’s entertainment company Dr. Seuss Enterprises has promoted Shannon Spisak to Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
As well, Dr. Seuss is further expanding their management team with the new appointments of Vienna Downes, Jimeka Broussard, and Raquel Ojalvo into positions within retail and licensing.
Spisak previously held the role of Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. In her new role, she will help the company expand the Dr. Seuss brand platform by developing 360-degree marketing programs.
Spisak will be responsible for leading all marketing-related activities for the company. Additionally, Spisak will play a key role in developing the company’s product, marketing, creative, social media, and business plans.
She will report directly to the CEO & President of Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Susan Brandt. Spisak will be involved as part of the DSE executive management team.

In other key moves, Vienna Downes will join the team as the Senior Director of Licensing and Sales. She will utilize her extensive experience in developing business initiatives and licensing programs in her new position.
Raquel Ojalvo is also joining the company as Director of Retail Sales. Ojalvo brings more than a decade of experience in entertainment licensing and sales. Her primary focus was on new business development and category management.
Jimeka Broussard has been hired as Licensing Manager. Broussard has a strong background in budget, product, and contract management.
