Kashamara Productions and Overlook Events will be bringing the officially licensed Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure to Canada in 2023.
Kashamara Productions is a newly-formed experiential licensing company that works on live events based on entertainment franchises.
Created and produced by Overlook Events, the Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure concert originally debuted in France as part of the 2018 transcontinental tour for the Dragon Ball franchise’s 30th anniversary.
The Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure concert features scenes from the Dragon Ball anime franchise accompanied by live vocals, a 60-piece orchestra and the music of the original Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z TV series by Japanese composer, Shunsuke Kikuchi.
Hiroki Takahashi, the original singer of the Dragon Ball series, will be joining the Canadian concert experience.
Produced by Toei Animation, the Dragon Ball anime franchise includes four TV series called Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super, as well as 21 animated feature films.
This includes the feature film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, which was released earlier this year. The franchise also includes numerous video games, collectible trading cards, and a live-action film adaptation.
Both VIP and General Admission tickets to the Canadian Dragon Ball Symphonic
Adventure will be available for purchase beginning Dec. 2. Presale tickets will be available starting on Nov. 28.
The currently confirmed dates and locations of the Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure are May 24 and 25 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montreal, June 9 and June 10 at Meridian Hall in Toronto, and Aug. 25 at The Orpheum in Vancouver. More locations and dates for the officially licensed Dragon Ball concert will be announced at a later date.
