Duke’s Mayonnaise and Chef Mason Hereford have launched a co-branded kitchen tool set inspired by Hereford’s Turkey and the Wolf restaurant.
“This collab has been a longtime coming,” said Hereford. “Duke’s is not just my go-to mayo, it’s an essential ingredient in my kitchen. As a standalone, I slather it on tomato sandwiches and dip my french fries in it, but I also use it as the base to a ton of sauces and classic dishes like deviled eggs. Duke’s is simply superior when it comes to mayo,” added Hereford. “We’ve talked about working on a cookware collection for a while now, and I’m excited that we can finally share it with the world.”
The two-piece kitchen collection includes a silicone spatula with a polypropylene handle and a deviled egg tray made with speckled melamine.
Featuring both the Duke’s Mayo and Turkey and the Wolf logos, the licensed deviled egg tray is also adorned with the slogan, Cracking Eggs and Raising Hell.
“Mason’s the perfect partner for this collab—he aligns with our brand so well,” said Duke’s Mayonnaise marketing director, Rebecca Lupesco. “We’re both about pushing the boundaries with products and recipes that speak to people who care about quality and creativity. He’s been an avid Duke’s supporter for years now, so teaming up for a fun collection like this felt like a no-brainer.”
The culinary brands have previously joined forces on other projects such as Duke’s House of Twang series and integration into Mason’s Flavor Trippin’ in New Orleans cookbook.
The licensed kitchenware collection is currently available for purchase exclusively through the Duke’s Mayo website.
Created in 1917 by Eugenia Duke, Duke’s Mayonnaise is a food manufacturing company that offers a range of sauces, condiments and mayos.
In addition to its flagship mayonnaise varieties, the company offers tartar sauce, dressings, mustards, sandwich relish and a specialty collection called Duke’s Southern Sauces.
A well-known figure in New Orleans’ food scene, Mason Hereford is popular for his new take on classic Southern dishes and his influence on the city’s culinary culture.
Alongside his business partners, Hereford owns and operates several different restaurants including Molly’s Rise and Shine, Hot Stuff, Turkey and the Wolf and Hungry Eyes.
