Estée Lauder Companies has appointed Rashida La Lande as its new EVP and general counsel.
In her new roles at Estée Lauder, La Lande will be responsible for overseeing and advising on the company’s global business initiatives and complex legal issues.
This includes Estée Lauder’s international corporate protocols, compliance, business practices, risk mitigation, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, transactions and more.
La Lande will also be tasked with overseeing the Estée Lauder Companies’ global privacy office and security team.

La Lande brings more than 25 years of experience advising corporations, companies and private equity sponsors across the consumer products, retail, financial services, licensing and technology industries.
Prior to joining The Estee Lauder Companies, La Lande worked for the Kraft Heinz Company in corporate roles of increasing responsibility since first joining the company in 2018.
Most recently, La Lande served as Kraft Heinz’ global chief legal & corporate affairs officer and executive vice president.
Prior to her tenure at Kraft Heinz, La Lande was a partner at the Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher law firm.

La Lande holds a BA in African American Studies from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor from the Columbia Law School in NYC.
