It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the onslaught of meetings at Expo, but Friendly Unofficial Networking says you shouldn’t forget the importance of having fun as well.
Also known as F.U.N., the group again staged a series of informal networking events in Las Vegas before and during the Licensing Expo, as a complement to the big main event.
The week of F.U.N. events kicked off on Sunday Night, May 19, at The Golden Tiki for a F.U.N. Tiki Night sponsored by GeekiTikis. The evening included unique tropical drink specials, themed drinkware, and a Tiki mug raffle.

On Monday, May 20, F.U.N.goers hung out at the Monday F.U.N.day Pool Party in the beach bungalows at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Pool. The bungalows were hosted by Striker Entertainment, Most Management, Reemsborko, Digital Enforcement Concepts and Toikido.
Several other Licensing Expo companies joined the fun, and also took bungalows in this area for one, big, networking get-together. The day party consisted of informal networking, pool food, frozen drinks, and inner tube rides on the lazy river. If there was ever a reason to get to Expo early, this was it!
On Tuesday Night, May 21, crowds swarmed the traditional Official Unofficial After Party in The Skyfall Lounge at the top of the Delano hotel. The cocktail party was co-hosted by Bioworld Merchandising, Viz Entertainment, and Striker Entertainment. The invite-only event featured a full bar, music, spectacular Vegas views, and a performance by Toki, the Japanese Elvis.
Friendly Unofficial Networking (F.U.N.) was created by licensing veteran Marc Mostman to provide licensing industry colleagues easily accessible networking opportunities.
