FanRoll has signed a long-term licensing agreement with Hasbro that will begin with an extensive consumer products program for its Dungeons & Dragons brand.
Under license by Hasbro and its Wizards of the Coast division, the Fanroll x Dungeons & Dragons collection will feature a wide range of items and styles for tabletop gaming experiences.
This includes a series of premium collectible dice that are inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Dungeons & Dragons franchise.
“We approach the category as fans and want to bring out a whole new way to play and celebrate the brand,” said FanRoll CEO, Neal Hoffman.
The high-quality collectible dice will feature artwork inspired by memorable moments from Dungeons & Dragons history. In addition, FanRoll is introducing a new tabletop accessory for Dungeons & Dragons players called the Dome of Destiny Automatic Dice Spinner.
“With an iconic portfolio of brands under the Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast umbrella, we are mindful to engage best-in-class partners that can help to deliver what fans really want,” said Hasbro director Bradley Bowman. “After seeing the innovation that FanRoll is bringing to the category, we knew that they would be the perfect partner. The fact that this is lining up with Dungeons & Dragon’s 50th anniversary gives us an opportunity to truly serve the fans who have been loyal for so many years.”

FanRoll has also been slated to launch licensed products for several of Hasbro’s other tabletop and board gaming brands.
The additional product lines will include premium dice collections for Hasbro-owned board games such as Monopoly, Risk, Clue, HeroQuest and Betrayal at House on the Hill.
FanRoll also plans to launch new dice-based board game edditions for classic Hasbro brands like Battleship, Connect 4, and Scrabble.
The new FanRoll x Hasbro board game editions will be called Battleship Search and Destroy, Connect 4 Rolls and Scrabble Texas Spell ‘Em.
FanRoll will debut images of the licensed Hasbro products at booth 628 at the GAMA Expo event that is taking place at the Kentucky International Convention Center from March 3 to March 7, 2024. The FanRoll x Hasbro products are scheduled to launch on the retail market in fall 2024.
This long-term collaborative partnership with Hasbro comes on the heels of FanRoll’s recent rebranding from Metallic Dice Games in 2023. As part of the rebranding, FanRoll is refocusing its strategy to include new categories of tabletop gaming products and the inclusion of materials such as gemstone, acrylic, and glow-in-the-dark options.
