Daniel Tiger is going to the zoo, quite literally, thanks to a partnership between brand owner Fred Rogers Productions and location-based entertainment specialist RWS Global.
Fred Rogers Productions and RWS Global say their partnership to bring PBS KIDS’ Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood to zoos nationwide will begin with an exhibit at the Bronx Zoo in the summer of 2026.
The immersive traveling exhibit, called Daniel Tiger’s Grr-ific Day with You, will blend lessons from the animated series with animal education and wildlife advocacy. The bilingual English–Spanish experience will guide families through activities inspired by the show while highlighting zoo habitats.
At each stop, children can learn life lessons through Daniel Tiger’s strategies while exploring interactive play areas, viewing animal habitats, and meeting characters from the series. The exhibit culminates in a live show featuring Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat, followed by character meet-and-greets and merchandise opportunities.
“We’re excited to officially kick off our partnership with Fred Rogers Productions and bring the magic of Daniel Tiger to an even broader audience of children at zoos around the country,” said Veronica Hart, Chief Growth Officer at RWS Global.

Christopher Arnold, Chief Operating Officer at Fred Rogers Productions, said the partnership reflects the company’s mission. “Fred Rogers Productions strives to create media and experiences that model kindness, respect, and an enthusiasm for learning, and our partnership with RWS delivers on that mission in a way that meets families where they are,” he said.
Meghann Kelley-DiSalvo, Director of Marketing for the Wildlife Conservation Society, said the Bronx Zoo is honored to host the first activation. “Daniel Tiger brings a message of imagination, learning, and discovery that aligns beautifully with our mission, and we’re thrilled to be where this new adventure begins,” she said.
As well, RWS Global is still looking to expand this new program, and is looking for additional partners to work with. If you’re a zoo operator, you can explore the opportunity of hosting the Daniel Tiger program at your facility by contacting RWS Global by email at newbusiness@rwsglobal.com
