Players Return To the World of Jumanji in New Video Game
Outright Games has just launched Jumanji: Wild Adventures, a new action-adventure game set in the world of the Jumanji films.
Players will return to the jungle to recover The Jewel of Jumanji in a sequel to Outright Games’ 2019 video game, Jumanji: The Video Game.
This new outing features an expansive world featuring dark jungles, creepy swamps, and fiery volcanoes. Players will forge their way through a sequence of unlockable regions in the game, each populated by a swarm of enemies, tough puzzles, and even tougher boss battles.
Adventurers will be able to play as the characters from the film franchise, Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Ruby Roundhouse, Franklin “Mouse” Finbar and Professor Shelly Oberon. As in the films, each character has their own special abilities, so players can choose which style suits them best. As well, Wild Adventures gives you the option to play alone or to join forces in a four-player local co-operative play mode.
“We are very excited to launch what we believe is the definitive ‘Jumanji’ video game and are incredibly thankful to our partners at Sony for helping bring this exciting adventure into the real world,” says Stephanie Malham, chief operating officer, Outright Games. “The ‘Jumanji’ movie franchise is one of the most beloved in entertainment and has such a natural connection to video games. It’s been a great privilege to create something authentic and enjoyable for fans of all ages. Our previous title, ‘Jumanji: The Video Game,’ is one of our biggest successes to date, and we’re so excited that ‘Jumanji: Wild Adventures’ is now out there in the wild for everyone to enjoy.”

Paramount Calming Kids With New Paw Patrol Audio Series
Paramount Consumer Products and the mental health company Calm are creating exclusive content based on Paw Patrol.
Presented as an original audio series based on the popular Spin Master toy and entertainment line, the collection will include stories narrated by characters Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Zuma and Rocky. The PAW Patrol content is available in English to Calm’s global subscriber base on the Calm Kids library, and aims to encourage a relaxed bedtime routine and aid a restful night’s sleep.
Kicking off the new series is a sleep story, Rubble’s Dream Adventure, along with three meditations – Dig Out of It, I’m Okay! and Preparing for a Mission designed to calm children’s worries by teaching breathing techniques, sensory awareness practice and provide reassurance that it’s okay to make mistakes.
“This first collaboration between ‘PAW Patrol’ and Calm marks the beginning of a special partnership which aims to help ease the wind-down routine at bedtime, whilst providing young children with valuable tools to navigate their worries and empower them to embrace daily adventures with joy and ease,” says Rebecca Jenkins, senior director, retail and new business, consumer products, Paramount U.K
The collaboration comes amid a big year for Paw Patrol, which marks its 10th anniversary this year.
