The Licensing International Hall of Fame honors the legacies and accomplishments of long-term executives in the licensing industry.
This year’s inductees are Pam Kaufman, Cindy Levitt, and Carole Postal.
Pam Kaufman currently holds the position of CEO and president of international markets and global consumer products & experiences at Paramount Global.
As Paramount Global’s CEO, Kaufman leads the development of licensed consumer products, gaming, events, and experiences for the company’s diverse portfolio of entertainment franchises.
Pam is also responsible for leading the globalization of Paramount’s international broadcasting and streaming operations.
In addition to her work at Paramount, Kaufman serves on the board of directors of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, Stella McCartney Ltd., and the Pace Women’s Justice Center.
Cindy Levitt is a long-standing licensing executive who specializes in retail trends and licensing programs for teens and young adults. Levitt is best known for her successful career at the specialty retailer Hot Topic, where she worked for approximately two decades.
Cindy recently retired from her position of SVP of Licensing for Mad Engine, but she remains a fixture of the industry through her involvement with the Delivering Good non-profit organization and her work as chairman of LIMA.
Carole Postal is an industry executive who built her career through trend licensing and retail expertise. In 1996, Postal founded her own licensing agency which she named CopCorp.
In 2017, Carole’s agency was rebranded as Spotlight Licensing & Brand Management to highlight its focus on developing licensing programs for entertainment and non-traditional properties.
Throughout her professional career, Carole has focused on partnering with other female executives in business, entertainment, and philanthropic endeavours.
“We have so much to celebrate at this year’s Licensing International Hall of Fame and Rising Star Awards,” said Licensing International president, Maura Regan. “In addition to honoring these three industry veterans, who have contributed so much not only to our industry but also to our community, we also have the opportunity to highlight gifted newcomers. This industry is full of talent, and I am so inspired by the innovation that constantly moves our business forward. I can’t wait to see what Pam, Cindy, and Carole do next.”
This year’s Licensing International Hall of Fame and Rising Star Awards event will take place at Gotham Hall in NYC on December 6, 2023. The awards event will also serve as a fundraiser for the Licensing International Foundation’s scholarship program.
Licensing International’s 2023 Rising Star Award recipients will be announced later this year.
