Jade City Foods and Manic Panic have entered a licensing partnership for coffees and hot sauces inspired by Manic Panic hair dyes.
Founded in 2021, Jade City Foods specializes in creating, developing, and marketing food and beverage products in collaboration with pop-culture brands. The company uses crops from environmentally-friendly and fair-trade farms to manufacture all of their products.
Manic Panic is a hair color and cosmetics brand that features products that are certified as cruelty-free, vegan, and globally-compliant. Manic Panic is best-known for its bright and vibrant semi-permanent hair color products. The brand was created in New York City in 1977 by the punk rock sisters, Tish and Snooky.
The Hundreds and Manic Panic Release a Collaboration to Dye For
The first co-branded culinary collection includes five hot sauce flavors inspired by Manic Panic’s Wildfire, Raven, Sunshine, Electric Amethyst, and Green Envy dye colors.
The Wildfire-inspired sauce is the spiciest in the collection with a mixture of Trinidad moruga scorpion, ghost, and Carolina reaper peppers.
The Raven hot sauce features charcoal and habanero peppers. The Sunshine hot sauce includes flavor from both pineapples and habanero peppers.
The Electric Amethyst sauce features both blueberries and habanero flavoring. The Green Envy sauce is created using jalapeño peppers, making it the mildest flavor in the collection.
The first Manic Panic hot sauce collection is available now on Jade City Foods official website.
Additional Jade City x Manic Panic product collections are expected sometime this year.
