Master Replicas has signed a licensing agreement with BBC Studios to continue the Doctor Who figurine collection for the franchise’s 60th anniversary.
The rights for the Doctor Who figurine collection previously belonged to Eaglemoss before the company ceased operations in 2022 due to financial crisis.
One of the longest-running Doctor Who product collections ever released, the licensed Doctor Who figurine collection has included 370 unique Doctor Who statues to date. These statues have spanned every era of the science-fiction franchise’s sixty year history.
BBC Studio’s new partnership with Master Replicas is intended to emulate the style of the original statues with new figurine releases based on popular Doctor Who characters, vehicles, and TARDIS consoles.
A division of Heathside Trading, Master Replicas is a UK-based manufacturing and wholesale company that specializes in licensed pop culture products.
“This is a very exciting time for Doctor Who and we’re very happy that we’re able to bring this collection back,” said Heathside Trading EVP, Darren Epstein. “The range of statues is

incredible. We couldn’t be happier to continue the work and will be bringing the same level of research and attention to detail to the series. We’re particularly excited to bring the vehicles to life starting with the Dalek Saucer from The Parting of the Ways.”
Master Replica’s upcoming Doctor Who figurine collection will include a range of 1:21 and 1:6 scale statues, in addition to a line of 20 cm and 34 cm Mega statues.
Each figurine included in the collection will be digitally-sculpted before being cast in polyresin and hand-painted by skilled artists.
Before the sculpting process, each Doctor Who statue will be extensively researched by Master Replicas in-house design team using the BBC’s episode archive.
The revamped Doctor Who figurine collection is expected to launch on Master Replica’s global direct-to-consumer ecommerce website in 2024.
