The holiday ornament brand Old World Christmas has secured four new licensing partnerships for its hand-made glass ornaments.
The newly licensed brands include Mars Wrigley, Major League Baseball, Norman Rockwell, and Morton Salt. Each of these brands will receive a new line of hand-painted, blown-glass ornaments designed by Old World Christmas.
Founded in 1979, Old World Christmas is a specialty ornament manufacturer that currently offers more than 1,400 proprietary designs in a wide range of styles.
“We are excited to continue to grow our licensed portfolio,” said Neal Applefeld, CEO at Old World Christmas. “Ornaments help a Christmas tree tell a story and we look to partner with brands who can bolster that story.”
The upcoming Mars Wrigley ornament line will include designs based on the company’s confectionary products. The candy brands included in the ornament collection are M&M’S, Starburst, Snickers, Skittles, and Twix.
Major League Baseball’s ornament collection will feature designs based on all 30 of the league’s baseball teams.
The licensed collection of Norman Rockwell ornaments will feature several paintings created by the late American artist. The product line will be created in collaboration with the Norman Rockwell Family Agency through its licensing agent, IMG.
The long-standing American salt manufacturer, Morton Salt, will receive a licensed ornament collection based on the company’s Morton Umbrella Girl logo.
All four of the licensed Christmas ornament collections are scheduled for release later this year. The products will be available for purchase through the official Old World Christmas website and select retail stores across the US.
