Pacsun is launching the second installment of its Pac Artist Network Series in partnership with monochromatic mural artist, Brendan Monroe.
Brendan Monroe is an abstract painter that creates black-and-white art pieces that are designed to capture motion through the use of curved, biomorphic lines and negative space.
Based in Los Angeles, Monroe takes inspiration from both the natural world and the city’s vibrant surfing and skateboarding sub-cultures.
The new Pac Artist Network collection includes four unisex shortsleeve t-shirts and one hoodie that showcase Monroe’s distinctive mural designs.
To promote the collaborative collection, Monroe displayed his artistic process through a live window painting event at Pacsun’s DTLA store location.
The Pac Artist Network: Brendan Monroe collection is currently available for purchase at 50 Pacsun stores across the U.S. and through the company’s official e-commerce website.
“Brendan’s ability to merge imagination with cultural relevance makes him a perfect fit for the Pac Artist Network Program,” said Pacsun chief merchandising officer, Richard Cox. “His boundary-pushing work resonates with the individuality and creativity that Pacsun celebrates, and we’re excited to introduce his designs to our audience.”
First introduced in 2024, the Pac Artist Network Program was created to celebrate emerging and established artists through the development of licensed product collections.
The licensing partnership with Monroe was facilitated by the global talent agency ATRBUTE, as part of its ongoing strategic partnership with Pacsun.
