PlayMonster has appointed former Mattel exec Brian Fitzharris as the company’s new chief commercial officer.
PlayMonster Group is an international company that specializes in manufacturing and marketing products such as toys, games, puzzles and more.
“At PlayMonster, where our relentless commitment to growth and innovation propels us forward, we’re thrilled to have Brian join our team,” said PlayMonster CEO, Steve Adolph. “His proven track record in discerning a brand’s trajectory and navigating that path to success, aligns seamlessly with our vision. I am particularly eager for the injection of his fresh perspective, not just for 2024 but beyond.”
In his new role as CCO, Fitzharris will be responsible for driving the growth of Playmonster’s North America, U.K. and international sales initiatives.
In addition to its global sales growth, Fitzharris will also lead the company’s overal marketing division. This includes Playmonster’s e-commerce operations, revenue optimization, and go-to-market strategies.
“In this dynamic era of play and innovation, the PlayMonster portfolio stands as a cornerstone in the arts and crafts, toys and games categories,” said Fitzharris. “I am excited to join such a strong team of knowledgeable, talented and dedicated people. Between the strong items and brands we have in the portfolio and the best-in-class partnerships that the team has established, PlayMonster has the ingredients required to elevate the business to new heights of creativity and market prominence.”
Prior to joining PlayMonster, Fitzharris worked in several senior leadership roles at Mattel during his seventeen-year tenure at the company.
The positions he held during his time at Mattel included international marketing and sales roles for prominent brands such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Barbie, and Hot Wheels.
Fitzharris has earned a masters degree in business administration from the USC Marshall School of Business and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Arizona.
