Prime Video is releasing a licensed baking competition series called Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge on Dec. 13, 2022.
Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge will feature nine teams of two bakers that will compete for a grand prize of $50,000. In each episode, the competitors will be given a challenge based 0n licensed characters and stories from the Dr. Seuss brand.
The contestants creations will then be judged based on taste, creativity, and storytelling. The show will be hosted by the actress, author, and producer, Tamera Mowry-Housley with baking celebrities, Clarice Lam and Joshua John Russell as judges.
The Dr. Seuss IP is represented by the global children’s entertainment company, Dr. Seuss Enterprises. Founded in 1993, the company works to spread the Dr. Seuss franchise through publishing, film, TV, stage productions, exhibitions, digital media, licensed merchandise, and other strategic partnerships.
Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge is produced by Amazon Studios, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, and Super Delicious. All eight episodes of the series will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide Dec. 13. In the U.S. and UK, Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge will also premiere simultaneously on the free ad-supported streaming service, Amazon Freevee.
