The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has partnered with West Design Products for its first licensed collection of arts and craft products.
West Design Products is a family-owned design, manufacturing and distribution company that serves the UK, European and global retail markets. The company uses its expertise to produce and distribute products in the arts, crafts, stationary, toy and education categories.
RHS says that, as a UK-based company, West Design Products has significant experience in creating licensed products for a number of UK leisure, tourism and heritage brands.
“It is important that we work with a company with a genuine passion for the art and craft industry on our first major foray into this product category,” said RHS manager, Cathy Snow. “West Design Products is the perfect partner, bringing expertise, experience and exceptional design skills to a range that will appeal to people who love art and craft – whatever their skill levels.”
The upcoming RHS x West Design Products range will include two arts & crafts collections that will feature licensed botanical art from the RHS Lindley Collections, in addition to RHS brand markers and logos.
One of the collections will include crafting products intended for the adult demographic and the other will include products that are designed for children.
The first products in the new agreement will be officially released in spring 2024 following an unveiling at the Top Drawer retail showcase in London.

The partnership will launch with 23 products in the adult range. These products will include an assortment of embroidery kits, cross-stitch hoop kits, embroidery hoop decoration kits, papercrafting kits, scrapbook art sets, painting by numbers sets and A5 case-bound sketchbooks.
The initial launch of children’s products will include a range of A4 painting by numbers sets, a colouring roll, a scrapbook, a flower press kit, a bird house, a bug hotel, and a mini ceramic window garden. A double-sided floor standing display unit (FSDU) is also being made available to house the full RHS-themed range.
The next phase of the launch will take place in autumn/winter 2024 and will include additional crafting and art kits for sewing, embroidery, macrame, quilting, wall hanging, patches, crocheting, flower press, childrens’ papercrafts and more.
“We are thrilled to have produced this marvellous range for the UK’s favourite gardening charity,” said West Design Products director, Jo Bray. “It has been a delight to work with this prestigious brand and its unmatched design assets on a range of products that we are certain will be enormously popular with art and craft enthusiasts across the UK.”
Additional RHS x West Design Products collections are planned for release throughout 2025.
