Rich Products and Hometown Foods are expanding their lineup of Funfetti dessert solutions with a pre-made cake layer for in-store bakeries.
Fully baked with Funfetti’s birthday cake flavor and candy bits, the licensed cake layer is designed to help bakeries deliver custom creations with ease.
This new offering expands Rich’s existing portfolio of licensed Funfetti products, which was introduced in 2024 through the company’s collaborative partnership with Hometown Foods.
“We’re thrilled to expand our portfolio of Funfetti products, bringing new offerings to market that will help in-store bakeries drive excitement among consumers,” said Rich Products VP, Alvino Battistoni. “We know consumers love the Funfetti brand—it’s fun, versatile and nostalgic. This cake layer delivers on that brand sentiment, while giving bakeries a canvas to create unique, custom desserts without the added labor, time or cost.”
The co-branded product portfolio is designed to help bakeries cut down on time, labor and cost with a variety of long-lasting, pre-made dessert offerings.
Rich’s full line-up of licensed Funfetti products includes an ice cream cake, a quarter-sheet celebration cake, parfait cups, cheesecake slices, a cookie cake and Rich’s Funfetti Bettercreme icing.
