Scholastic and Boat Rocker have released the fifth and sixth titles in their licensed publishing program for the preschool series Dino Ranch.
The new books in the Dino Ranch publishing program include a storybook titled Pterodactyl Attack! and a Level 1 reader called Home on the Ranch. Both of these books were made available for purchase in September.
The CGI-animated series Dino Ranch follows the Cassidy family as they tackle life in a western-style setting where dinosaurs still exist. The Dino Ranch series is produced by Boat Rocker Studios and Industrial Brothers.
Boat Rocker announced last month that the Dino Ranch show has been renewed for a third season, to be aired in fall 2023 in the U.S. and Canada with international markets to follow.
Boat Rocker is an independent global entertainment company. Its creative and commercial capabilities include television production and distribution, brand and franchise management, animation, and talent management through Untitled Entertainment.
Scholastic’s worldwide publishing program for the Dino Ranch franchise originally launched in spring 2022. The licensing agreement for the program allows Scholastic to release published products for Dino Ranch in a range of formats including readers, sticker storybooks, novelty, activity books, and audiobooks. The publishing program is geared to children from three to eight years old.
The Scholastic Corporation is the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books. It is also known as a provider of literacy curriculum, professional services, and classroom magazines.
In January 2023, Scholastic is releasing a Spanish translation of the licensed Dino Ranch book, T-Rex Trouble or Rancho Dinosaurio: ¡Lío de tiranosaurios! More published Dino Ranch books will be announced by Scholastic in the future.
