Bulldog Licensing has secured a partnership between Banijay Kids & Family and Skinnydip London for licensed product collections inspired by the Totally Spies! series.
The new partnership gives Skinnydip London the licensing rights to manufacture and distribute Totally Spies! products across multiple categories such as phone accessories, apparel, beauty, gifts, travel, homewares, lifestyle and fashion accessories.
“Totally Spies! ticks so many boxes for our customer base in terms of humour, excitement, style and of course female empowerment, all combined with powerful and arresting imagery,” said Skinnydip London MD, Lewis Blitz. “Sam, Clover and Alex are a welcome addition to our accessories, clothing and lifestyle ranges.”
The first product line for the Skinnydip London collaboration is a series of Totally Spies! phone cases that feature colorful art of the show’s main characters Sam, Clover and Alex.
The Totally Spies! phone cases are currently available to consumers through the official Skinnydip London e-commerce website.
Totally Spies! is an action-comedy franchise that originally debuted as an animated series in 2001 that was produced by Banijay Kids & Family’s Zodiak production label.
The Totally Spies! animated series was broadcast in 220 countries and territories across the globe and is available in 60 different languages.
“It’s no surprise Totally Spies! is attracting such a positive licensing industry response,” said Bulldog Licensing director, Vicky Miller. “The show enjoys enduring appeal among adults who fell in love with the original action, gadgets and missions, alongside young audiences who also enjoy the show’s wit, invention, and positive messages about friendship and teamwork,” added Miller. “It’s ideal for many categories, which is why we’re thrilled to be working with Skinnydip, a company with a strong offering that appeals to multiple age groups.”
Run by Bulldog on behalf of Banijay Kids & Family, the UK licensing campaign for Totally Spies! first began last year to coincide with the debut of a seventh season for the action-comedy series.
An eighth season has already been confirmed for the franchise and Amazon MGM Studios has announced an upcoming live-action adaptation for the property.
