New information on the scale and activities for this year’s BRANDmate networking event in Germany has been released.
The second edition of BRANDmate will feature networking activities such as corporate ‘speed-dating’, showrooms, speaker stages, branded food trucks, a live concert, masterclasses, and more.
“What we’re after is a brand experience area with showrooms, themed cafés, food trucks and lots more,” said Brandmate director Eva Stemmer. “A wonderland of brands that alerts its audience to new possibilities and invites them to think up new ideas for collaborations.”
The upcoming BRANDmate event is expected to host approximately 30% more exhibitors than its previous iteration. The exhibiting companies will represent a wide range of categories including entertainment, toys, stationery, publishing, gaming, e-sports, food and beverage, home, travel, fashion, and more.
The increase in scale of this year’s BRANDmate licensing event is the result of a recent expansion to its long-standing partnership with the trade event organizer Spielwarenmesse eG.
“We are very much looking forward to injecting our many years of experience, together with our contacts, into BRANDmate and revealing some pioneering formats to the sector,” said Spielwarenmesse eG spokesperson, Christian Ulrich.
To accommodate the growth, this years’ event will include a variety of upgraded features such as a larger setting, an IP showcase called BRANDS on Stage, an expanded exhibition area, and expert-led educational talks from Licensing International members.
As BRANDmate’s educational partner, Licensing International will hold a number of thirty-minute talks on the event’s speaker stage. The educational talks will cover topics such as target group market research, AI, future consumer behaviour, the influence of social media, and the emotionalisation of brands.
BRANDmate 2023 will also offer an all-inclusive event package, a live concert in the evening, and multiple food and beverage offerings. The culinary offerings will include products from the food brands Gustavo Gusto, Bruno Gelato and Traeger, as well as show-kitchens from celebrity chefs Axel Schmitt and Johann Lafer.
National and international businesses that have been confirmed for presentations at this year’s event include NBCU, SuperRTL, WDR Mediagroup, Paramount, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Jahreszeiten Verlag, Carlsen, Jokolade, Koziol, IBENA Textile, Carrera, and Warner Bros.
Using the official BRANDmate website, attendees can make contact with exhibitors to arrange appointments in advance and create new business opportunities beginning two weeks before the actual event takes place.
The second edition of the BRANDmate networking event will take place at the disused Fredenhagen steel plant near Offenbach on June 21 to 22, 2023.
