Sci fi fans will be thrilled to see Anderson Entertainment is taking pre-orders for their new, limited edition model of the famed Thunderbird 2.
The space ship is likely the most famous of all the futuristic vehicles that came from the mind of writer and producer Gerry Anderson, and will be instantly recognizable to anyone who watched The Thunderbirds series.
It was made between 1964 and 1966 using a form of electronic marionette puppetry (dubbed “Supermarionation“) combined with special effects sequences using scale models. The series followed the adventures of a secret organization called International Rescue, which used futuristic craft known as Thunderbirds for their operations

This newly released model of the Thunderbird 2 isfinished in its fixed pod configuration and comes with launch ramp base, luxury packaging and certificate of authenticity. This series will be limited to 2,000 units worldwide and is priced at £124.99.
“We’re really pleased with how the new Thunderbird 2 has come out and looking ahead our pipeline of models looks really strong especially as we work towards the 50th anniversary of Space: 1999 and 60th anniversary of Thunderbirds in 2025,” said Jamie Anderson.
The release of the Thunderbird 2 is the next launch in the firm’s new premium range, following the successful release of two Eagles spacecraft from the sci fi show Space:1999 late last year.
