Denim fashion company True Religion is providing some new apparel options for those who truly worship their pets.
The LA-based True Religion just signed a new deal with Weisner Products Inc.’s pet division, Paw NYC, to license True Religion-branded products for both dogs and cats. The collection, which includes pet apparel, beds, toys, collars, leashes, harnesses, feeders, and cold weather accessories, is set to launch in Spring 2024.
True Religion Pets will be available on truereligion.com as well as at select specialty retailers.
This is True Religion’s first foray into the pet accessories industry, a rapidly growing industry that is expected to top $32 billion in annual revenue by 2028, up from $20.5 billion in 2022.
True Religion CEO Michael Buckley expressed his excitement about the new venture, stating, “At True Religion, we love our pets. Now they’ll be dressed as stylishly as our customers.”
Wiesner Products Inc., a New York-based industry leader in the design, marketing, sourcing, and distribution of various products, has been a long-standing partner of True Religion. Its Paw NYC division specializes in everything cat and dog related, including beds, toys, apparel, and feeding supplies.
“We know that there are legions of loyal True Religion customers who want their pets to look as distinctive as they do,” said Weisner VP Mike Tawil.
He expressed his enthusiasm about incorporating key trends into their pet products and bringing to life True Religion’s iconic brand heritage in an exciting pet collection.
True Religion, which emerged onto the Los Angeles denim scene in 2002, is known for its unique style and high-quality premium denim and sportswear for men, women, and kids.
