The Wet n’ Wild Beauty brand has launched a limited-edition Scooby-Doo cosmetics collection in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery.
Scooby-Doo is a long-standing family entertainment franchise that is currently owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, initially created for an animated TV series called Scooby-Doo Where Are You? for the Hanna-Barbera entertainment studio in 1969.
Hanna-Barbera and its Scooby Doo brand were officially absorbed by Warner Bros. animation division in 2001.
Since the Scooby-Doo franchise’s initial launch, it has expanded to include a wide range of TV series, movies, comic books, games, licensed consumer products and more.
The Scooby-Doo Wet n’ Wild makeup collection includes a variety of products and tools based on licensed characters, objects and colors from the comedy franchise.
The themed cosmetic line includes items such as Puppy Power Cream Blush, a G-g-g-ghost Glitter Palette, Old School Swag Liquid Eyeliner, the Scooby Doo Where Are You? Palette, Scooby Snacks Lip Balm, Damsels Not In Distress Eyeliner Pens, Glow Madness Body Crayons, Ruh-Roh! Nail Polish and more.
The licensed Wet n’ Wild collection also features several makeup tools and accessories including a Scooby Dooby Doooo Hand Mirror, a Scooby Snacks Makeup Brush Set, the Ruh-Roh Glow in the Dark Makeup Sponge and a Mystery Machine Makeup Bag.
Initially launched in 1979, Wet n’ Wild is a high-quality budget beauty brand that offers cruelty-free and lead-free cosmetics for all ages.
The Wet n’ Wild brand is a certified member of PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program which ensures that all of Wet n’ Wild’s cosmetics are developed without the use of animal testing.
In addition to Scooby-Doo, the Wet n’ Wild e-commerce website offers themed beauty and cosmetics collections based on licensed IPs such as Alice in Wonderland, Sesame Street and Marilyn Monroe.
Wet n’ Wild has been owned and operated by Markwins Beauty Brands since its acquisition of the AM Cosmetics company and brand portfolio in 2003.
Founded by entrepeneur Eric Chen in 1984, Markwins is an independent cosmetics company that represents a portfolio of brands such as The Color Workshop, Lip Smacker, Bonne Bell, LORAC Cosmetics, Black Radiance and Wet n’ Wild.
The company’s products are currently available in more than eighty countries across the globe through Markwins international network of retail partners.
Markwins first entered the entertainment licensing industry in 2007 when it secured a deal for a cosmetics line based on characters owned by The Walt Disney Company.
