Sony Pictures Consumer Products is inviting Ghostbuster fans to suit up for Halloween with an expansive new suite of licensed goods and content.
The list of licensees includes IllFonic, Hasbro, Disguise, Insight Editions and more. The list of licensed products and experiences includes interactive gaming, apparel, accessories, toys, collectibles, and costumes – taking the popular world of Ghostbusters beyond the screen and into the spooky Halloween season.
Sony says the program coincides with an exciting new chapter in Ghostbusters history, with forthcoming theatrical and animated content in development, including a sequel to the smash-hit, Ghostbusters: Afterlife and two new offerings from Sony Pictures Animation. One will be the first-ever Ghostbusters animated movie and the second a new Ghostbusters animated series, both of which are currently in development.

- On Oct. 18, developer IllFonic released the Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed video game. In the supernaturally charged 4 v 1 asymmetrical multiplayer game, proton-pack-wielding Ghostbusters attempt to catch a Ghost who is seeking to haunt multiple unique locations. The look and feel will deliver an immersive brand experience, allowing fans to play out their Ghostbusters fantasies, whether they choose to hunt or haunt. - From Hasbro, fans can get their hands on the ultimate ghost bustin’ adult collectible roleplay item with the first- ever Ghostbusters HasLab project, the Plasma Series Spengler’s Proton Pack, estimated to ship by Spring 2023. In collaboration with Mego corporation, the Ghostbusters X Mego 4-Pack Collection of action figures will feature classic characters, detailed head-sculpts for realistic likenesses, and movie-inspired accessories. - New from Insight Editions, foodies and paranormal investigative fans alike can dig in to more than 50 recipes inspired by the franchise in the forthcoming Ghostbusters: The Official Cookbook. Available on Oct. 25, the cookbook celebrates the bold personalities of Egon, Venkman, Zeddemore, and Stantz, along with new characters from Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Podcast, Phoebe, Trevor and Lucky.
