Studio 100 Media has appointed Manuela Lumb and Richard Rowe as executive producers for the company’s European business expansion.
Studio 100 Media is an international production and distribution company that specializes in children’s and family entertainment. The company is a subsidiary of the Studio 100 Group.
“We are thrilled to have Manuela and Richard on board to drive the expansion of our European slate,” said Studio 100 CEO, Martin Krieger. “Both are exceptional personalities, with profound expertise in the kids and family entertainment business. They are a powerful support in our goal to expand the Studio 100 line-up to new genres and target groups and I am excited they are joining us on this amazing journey.”
Both of the new executive producers will scout and develop new projects and intellectual property for Studio 100 childrens’ series. Lumb and Rowe will also work to identify new partners for co-development and co-production in their respective regions.
Lumb will specialize in German-speaking countries and Rowe will be responsible for English-speaking territories across Europe.
Lumb has extensive past experience in commissioning and producing multi-genre content. Her prior experience includes developing and producing the German pre-school brand KiKAninchen for KiKA, the Löwenzähnchen brand for ZDF, live-action series for Nickelodeon, and more.
Richard Rowe has twenty years of experience in identifying, commissioning, developing, and producing live-action and animated content. His extensive experience includes Inspector Gadget, Dorg Van Dango and The Zoo for WildBrain Entertainment.
