WildBrain, a global leader in kids’ and family entertainment, has strengthened its presence in the FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) kids’ space with the launch of multiple new channels across Europe.
The new FAST channels will feature popular properties such as Teletubbies, Strawberry Shortcake, and Degrassi.
That’s also a sign that licensing activity for these properties will increase in the European region. Wildbrain is involved in global licensing programs for its various brands, and typically expands licensing activity in a region where its programs are streamed.
In Italy, LG Channels has introduced a new FAST channel dedicated to Sonic, while audiences in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland now have access to a newly launched Strawberry Shortcake channel. Meanwhile, in France, both TCL Channel and Rakuten TV have debuted new Degrassi channels, with TCL Channel also rolling out additional Strawberry Shortcake content.
Further expanding its footprint, WildBrain has launched new Teletubbies and Strawberry Shortcake channels via TCL Channel in Spain and Portugal. In the UK, LG Channels has broadened its offerings to include additional FAST channels for popular brands such as Strawberry Shortcake, Sonic, Super Mario, Slugterra, Rev & Roll, and Rainbow Ruby.
Over the past year, WildBrain has tripled its FAST channel presence across Europe, now boasting a total of more than 70 channels. This expansion aligns with the company’s strategy to provide engaging and accessible kids’ content through direct partnerships with leading streaming platforms.

With approximately 15 billion minutes watched in 2024 and a total of 150 FAST channels launched globally, WildBrain continues to be a leader in the FAST kids’ content space.
