The Wonder Women Awards are intended to celebrate women who are catalysts for positive change and growth in their respective industries.
“This year’s theme is Thrive Together: Celebrating Boldness, Impact and Collaboration,” said Wonder Women Awards co-chair, Nancy Molenda. “We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our industry’s remarkable women for their hard work, determination, and collaborative achievements.”
Anyone can nominate a colleague, friend, themselves, or any woman who has made an impact in toys, consumer products, licensing, or entertainment beginning now and extending until May 19, 2023.
This years’ Wonder Women Awards will celebrate successful women executives in categories such as Designer/Inventor, Inbound Licensing, Marketing, PR & Communications, Brand Franchise, Digital Storytelling, Social Impact, Creative Genius, Commercial Sales, and Rising Leader.
“We’re thrilled to finally be together live and in person for the 2023 Wonder Women Awards,” said Wonder Women Awards co-chair, Ehi Oviasu-Kahn. “There are countless extraordinarily talented women in our industry who continue to inspire us all. Let the nominating begin!”
Award finalists will be determined by a vote of the WiT Board of Directors, Advisory Board, Chapter Chairs, and Committee Chairs, based on the nominee’s achievements and accomplishments. Finalists will be announced in late July, and final voting will take place in August, conducted by WiT members and its Board of Directors.
The award winners will be officially announced at the Wonder Women Awards gala ceremony which will take place on Oct. 1, 2023 at Pier 60, Chelsea Piers in New York City. The gala event is scheduled to coincide with the 2023 edition of the business-to-business trade expo Toy Fair New York.
Proceeds from the Gala will directly benefit The WiT Foundation Scholarship Program and fund programming that helps WiT’s women’s advocacy initiatives.
