Cath Kidston, the British lifestyle brand owned by UK retailer Next, is expanding its presence in North America through four new licensing agreements.
The latest deals include home, sleepwear, fabric, and stationery categories, and were facilitated by Beanstalk, the brand’s exclusive licensing agency for The Americas, Australia/New Zealand, and South Africa.
The new licensees include Britannica Home Fashions for fashion and basic bedding, throws, rugs, window treatments, and bath textiles; Dreamwear Inc. for women’s and girls’ sleepwear and intimates; Riley Blake Designs for fabric, quilting, and sewing kits; and Eccolo Ltd. for stationery, gift wrap, and party supplies.
Products under the new agreements are expected to begin rolling out in 2026.
According to Cath Kidston, the expansion is designed to meet growing U.S. demand for heritage-inspired lifestyle products while extending the brand’s hand-painted prints and design-led aesthetic into additional categories. Future category growth is planned in areas including bath and body, home fragrance, and accent furniture, with additional opportunities remaining in women’s apparel, accessories, children’s products, and home furnishings.
“We know we have an established community of passionate Cath Kidston customers in the States,” said Holly Marler, head of creative for Cath Kidston. “We are delighted to be working alongside the expertise of our market-leading license partners to be able to offer a complete Cath Kidston lifestyle collection.”
Licensee partners highlighted the brand’s design heritage as a key driver of the collaboration.
“Cath Kidston’s iconic prints and joyful heritage translate beautifully into women’s and girls’ sleepwear and daywear,” explains Elliot Franco, president of Dreamwear Inc. “This collaboration allows us to bring the brand’s unmistakable aesthetic to life through products that combine comfort, quality, and everyday wearability, and we look forward to introducing these collections to consumers across the market.”
Cindy Cloward, owner/Chief Design Officer of Riley Blake Designs, revealed that working with Cath Kidston has been a long-held goal.
“The Cath Kidston brand has been on my ‘wish list’ for several years now,” Cloward says. “To partner with this exceptional brand is an inflection point moment for Riley Blake Designs. Our brands share a love for evocative designs; beautiful florals and happy vintage-inspired prints with a fresh, modern flair. We’re excited to bring Cath Kidston collections to quilters, sewists and crafters!”
“Our entire team is energized and ready to bring this beautifully designed brand to life across all home textiles categories at all levels of retail and e-commerce,” added Ryan Koflanovich, CEO of Britannica Home Fashions. “We are anticipating a long and prosperous relationship with the Cath Kidston team and looking forward to our launch together in Spring of 2026.”
Sam Shamah, co-owner of Eccolo, also said it was the design aesthetic at Cath Kidston that compelled his team to seek a licensing agreement.
“Eccolo is excited to join the Cath Kidston family and bring the brand’s iconic patterns to the North American market,” Shamah said. “Known for its heritage style and whimsical hand-painted prints, Cath Kidston aligns seamlessly with Eccolo’s dedication to craftsmanship, resulting in products that feel both meaningful and beautifully made.”
In addition to the newly announced agreements, Cath Kidston currently has U.S.-distributed licensed products across categories including wallpaper, toiletries and fragrance, small domestic appliances, tabletop and picnic, watches and charms, food and beverage, and refillable deodorant.
Founded more than 30 years ago, Cath Kidston is known globally for its hand-painted prints and lifestyle assortment spanning accessories, homeware, and apparel. Since joining Next, the brand has continued to reposition and expand through licensing and wholesale partnerships as part of its global growth strategy.
