Angel Reese and McDonald’s have signed a partnership for a licensed meal collaboration inspired by the WNBA star.
Beginning on February 10, participating McDonald’s restaurants throughout the US will offer a limited-edition meal called the Angel Reese Special.
The Angel Reese Special offers a saucy twist on McDonald’s quarter pounder combo that blends sweet, savory and spicy flavors with a new smoky Bold BBQ Sauce.
Marking McDonald’s first ever meal collaboration with a female athlete, the licensed meal includes a BBQ bacon quarter pounder with cheese, fries and a drink.

“McDonald’s has always been a big part of my life, from grabbing a McChicken Sandwich as a kid to being named a McDonald’s All American in 2020,” said Reese. “It’s really a dream come true to be the first-ever female athlete to have my own meal and be a part of McDonald’s amazing basketball legacy. I hope the Angel Reese Special inspires young athletes everywhere to never give up on pursuing their dreams.”
A former NCAA Champion, Angel Reese is a professional All-Star basketball player who is a member of the Chicago Sky WNBA team.
During her time with the WNBA, she has set the league’s current record for the most consecutive double-double games.
In addition to her sports career, Angel Reese has been involved with numerous entrepeneurial endeavours including licensing partnerships, fashion collaborations, podcast hosting and a charitable initiative called the Angel C. Reese Foundation.

Additional McDonald’s content inspired by Angel Reese and the NBA is expected to drop throughout the coming year.
“There’s a real connection between McDonald’s and basketball fans,” said McDonald’s VP, Jennifer JJ Healan. “We want to continue to fuel their love for the game and support athletes on and off the court. We’re excited to bring our legacy with basketball culture to a new generation, and partnering with Angel is only the beginning.”
The additional activations will focus on McDonald’s extensive history of highlighting rising stars and established players from American basketball.
