The global women’s media brand Cosmopolitan has partnered with the apparel brand Vitality for a licensed athleisure collection.
The collaboration between Cosmopolitan and Vitality was brokered by Cosmopolitan’s global licensing agency, IMG, and is the first time Cosmo has partnered on an activewear collection.
Vitality is an athleisure brand that specializes in size-inclusive activewear. The Vitality brand was founded in 2018 by Chloe Chamberlain, Taylor Dilk, and Steve Dilk.
“It is an incredible honor to be the first activewear brand to collaborate with Cosmopolitan, the largest young women’s media brand in the world,” said Taylor Dilk, Chief Executive Officer at Vitality.
“As a women-owned business, we work hard every day to help young women feel confident in their bodies and empower them to believe they can achieve anything they set their mind to. We believe
Cosmopolitan’s core values truly align with ours, and are excited to have worked on a very powerful project together.”
The co-branded apparel collection will include twelve women’s products and four men’s products in a mix of print and solid colorways. All of the products in the collection will be available in sizes XXS to XXXXL.
“Partnering with the leading female-owned athleisure brand was a no-brainer for us,” said Jessica Giles, Editor-in-Chief at Cosmopolitan.
“This inclusive collection speaks to everybody, aligning perfectly with the bold and vibrant spirit of Cosmo and our 61 million strong audience of modern young women.”
Cosmopolitan is the largest young women’s media brand in the world. The brand offers products and services across print, digital, social, video, smart-home devices, and retail-store shelves. The best-selling Cosmopolitan magazine is published by Hearst Magazines, a unit of the global media, information, and services company, Hearst.
The Cosmopolitan activewear collection by Vitality will feature products such as the Cloud Pant, the Cloud Rider short, the Ascend Pant, and other established designs from the Vitality brand.
“This collection encompasses empowerment and encourages women of all shapes and sizes to embrace their most authentic self,” Dilk added.
The licensed collection will include new product designs such as the Ascend Scoop Bra, the Ascend Volley short, and more. The women’s product line will also feature the Lena Bodysuit and the Noa Cargo, while the pieces for the men’s collection include the Prime Short in two lengths, the Vital Tee and the Formula Tank.
“The Cosmopolitan x Vitality collection tells a story of a woman finding her voice,” said Chloe Chamberlain, Chief of Design at Vitality. “She steps outside of her comfort zone, leaning into her authenticity and embracing the skin she is in. Each color and print in the collection represents a different tone, providing a new outlet for her expression.
“A woman can be many things: timeless, bold, and somewhere in between,” Chamberlain added. “Cosmopolitan x Vitality was designed to showcase the beauty of a multi-faceted, multi-talented individual, wherever their day may take them.”
The licensed collection was released exclusively on the official Vitality e-commerce website on October 27.
