Jason Wu has signed a licensing and distribution partnership with Concept One for a collection of fashionable handbags and leather accessories.
Jason Wu is a celebrity fashion designer who produces a self-titled design brand that specializes in luxury apparel and accessories inspired by American sportswear and couture craftsmanship.
“As a designer, my focus has always been on exquisite craftsmanship, melding modern design with timeless sophistication,” said Wu. “The concept of beautiful craftsmanship with a timeless quality has always been foundational to me. I have consistently applied these principles throughout my career, especially in various collaborative projects.” For the new licensing partnership, Jason Wu is set to design a collection of branded handbags and small leather accessories that will be distributed through a wide range of high-class department stores, mid-tier retailers and off-price channels by Concept One Accessories.
The new agreement with Concept One is part of an expanded distribution strategy for the Jason Wu brand that is led by the celebrity designer’s licensing representative, The Brand Liaison.
“Since he exploded onto the designer scene in 2006, Jason Wu has established himself as an authority of style, and his brand as a top luxury brand,” said Concept One CEO, Sam Hafif. “We are excited to continue that level of sophisticated design as we work closely with Jason and his team to build the Jason Wu handbags and leather goods collections for all tiers of distribution. We are grateful and excited for the opportunity to work with such a respected designer.”
