The global agency Licensed Right International has signed an agreement to represent product licensing opportunities for the art lifestyle brand, Fluff.
Founded in 2002 by artist and designer Claudette Barjoud, the Fluff brand is best known for its bright, joyful vibes with a nostalgic flair. Barjoud’s artwork is inspired by the things she loves, the agency says, including mid-century modern style, classic cartoons, vintage pinups, Japanese Kawaii, retro styles and much more.
The Fluff brand was founded in Pasadena, California in 2002 by Barjoud, who has produced a wide array of products, from accessories and apparel to home decor, available in thousands of retail shops around the world.
Based in Palm Springs, Claudette’s mission is to inspire “spontaneous squeals of delight,” while adding some fluff to everyone’s life, says Linda M. Castillon, Chief Licensing Officer of Licensed Right International, Inc.
“For over two decades, Claudette has created fabulous artwork and designs that have positioned her as one of the top royalty revenue-generating licenses in the industry,” says Castillon. “Adept and clever at boosting her brand via social media, Claudette’s marketing expertise and renowned artwork make her an invaluable partner.”
Licensed Right International is a global licensing agency, based in Los Angeles, that serves both licensors and licensees, and specializes in the representation of clients in the categories of music and celebrity licensing.
Licensing opportunities are now available for Fluff accessories, including jewelry, bags, wallets, open-edition art prints, home decor, tabletop and apparel.
“More than 3,000 shops worldwide have carried Fluff’s products over the past 20 years, and we look forward to fulfilling all of their licensing needs for the next 20 years,” Castillon said.
