Funko’s Loungefly brand has partnered with Lucasfilm for a new apparel and accessories collection for the Star Wars brand.
Loungefly is pop-culture fashion lifestyle brand that designs products that are inspired by entertainment IPs and professional sports teams.
Since Loungefly was acquired by Funko in 2017, the brand has expanded to include the Loungefly Apparel line, the high-end apparel brand Stitch Shoppe, and a makeup line called HipDot.
Loungefly products are available online and in specialty stores, boutiques and e-commerce sites worldwide.
The Star Wars x Loungefly web-exclusive collection will include a mini-backpack and a matching bifold wallet that features the Star Wars Ewok character, Wicket.
Loungefly’s Stitch Shoppe fashion label is also releasing new Star Wars-themed products. The Stitch Shoppe x Star Wars capsule collection includes a Star Wars printed top, a double-sided Star Wars skirt, a reversible crossbody bag with vintage LED lightsaber and artistic details, and other high-end apparel featuring licensed Star Wars characters.
The characters featured in the Stitch Shoppe collection will include Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader, and more.
Each top from the licensed Stitch Shoppe collection comes with an exclusive Star Wars-themed enamel pin.
The collection will be available on Loungefly’s e-commerce website and select online retailers beginning in July 2023.
The license for the Star Wars entertainment franchise is owned by the film and production company Lucasfilm Ltd. Lucasfilm has been a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company since it’s acquisition in 2012.
