Teddy Mountain has signed a global merchandising agreement with Hello Einstein Studios to create and distribute licensed Baby Einstein plush toys.
Operating for close to three decades, Baby Einstein is an educational entertainment franchise for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
The franchise is designed to encourage curiosity, discovery and imagination in young children through a wide variety of multi-media content, products and activities.
In August 2025, the official Baby Einstein YouTube channel surpassed 1 million total subscribers.
“We are thrilled to bring the beloved world of Baby Einstein into plush through our new collaboration with Teddy Mountain,” said Hello Einstein Studios licensing & media director, Jaime Martin. “This launch extends our commitment to creating products that spark curiosity and creativity. As we celebrate Baby Einstein’s 30th anniversary in 2026, we look forward to families discovering the heart of Baby Einstein in a whole new, hands-on way as Cal and his explorer friends come to life in plush.”
Through the partnership, Teddy Mountain will create and distribute a range of DIY and retail-ready plush toys based on characters from the Baby Einstein YouTube series.
“Baby Einstein has always championed curiosity and connection,” said Teddy Mountain business development manager, Jen Ruh. “We’re honored to have the opportunity to translate that legacy into plush form by creating sensory rich companions that comfort, engage and inspire while turning everyday moments into learning adventures.”
Teddy Mountain plans to showcase the licensed plush toys to wholesalers through its expansive global network of distribution partners.
This distribution network extends across North America, Latin America, the United Kingdom, the European Union and the Emirates.
“Partnering with Hello Einstein Studios strengthens our position as a leading platform in plush and early childhood development,” said Teddy Mountain president, Pat Shirkey. “With the Baby Einstein brand, Teddy Mountain further supports families from the very first stages of early childhood—with a name parents already know and trust.”
The Baby Einstein plushies will be released across direct-to-consumer channels, mass market retailers and specialty stores.
“At Teddy Mountain, we’re thrilled to partner with Baby Einstein together,” said Teddy Mountain sales director, Michele Escobar. “We’re helping little ones learn, laugh, and grow through the magic of imagination and play.”
Founded by Patrick Shirkey & Dominique Gingras, Teddy Mountain has over two decades of experience as a designer of DIY plush toys and licensed products.
The company operates as a wholesale supply company that produces a wide range of premium plush and accessories for its wholly-owned brands and licensing partners.
Hello Einstein Studios’ is a media entertainment company that specializes in creating fun and educational content for children and youth.
The Baby Einstein brand is a registered trademark and copyright of Baby Einstein, LLC. Einstein is a trademark of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
