Trill Burgers has teamed up with Toho International to launch a licensed in-store collaboration inspired by the Spy x Family anime series.
The partnership is offering a limited-edition Spy x Family burger and two co-branded t-shirt designs that can be purchased through both of the restaurant brands’ retail locations.
“Team Trill Burgers is thrilled to partner with Spy x Family for our first in-store anime collaboration,” said Trill Burgers co-founder, Bun B. “This collab is a huge deal for Trill Burgers—Spy x Family is a global show, and we’re proud to bring this unique experience to fans. We love bringing these one-of-a-kind partnerships to our community and continue to cement Trill Burgers as a truly versatile brand.”
Available from December 6 to 31, the anime-inspired burger features two smashed beef patties, American cheese slices, pickles, beef goulash, a Lil’ Smokey sausage, a fried egg and sour cream.
The co-branded t-shirts offer exclusive artwork inspired by Spy x Family’s main protagonists, the Forgers.
“Partnering with Trill Burgers for this collaboration allows us to bring Spy x Family directly to fans in Houston through a fun, interactive and delicious activation,” said Toho International general manager, Kristin Parcell. “As anime continues to take over mainstream pop culture, we’re always looking for ways to connect fans with authentic, engaging experiences like this.”
Established by co-founders Bun B, Andy Nguyen and Nick Scurfield, Trill Burgers is a Houston-based restaurant brand with a menu by executive chefs Mike Pham and Fernando Valladares.
Operating as the US-based subsidiary of Toho, Toho International is responsible for managing the licensing, commerce and theatrical rights to the Spy x Family brand outside of Japan.
